About the event
These classes will take you back to the root of hoop dancing, the ability to rock a hoop on body! It will expand your movement and dance as well as strengthen your core. These classes are designed for beginners through intermediate. This class series can be taken with the intermediate series as intermediate just refers to off body and some comfort with the hoop. I have something for everyone!
I will have hoops to share, please bring your hoops if you have any!
July 6thBasic On Body Techniques Everything you need to know how to start hooping! Learn to control the hoop, different techniques to save it, hand hooping control and more.
July 13th Expanding to torso and legs We got the basics down let's expand to other parts of the body and start exploring hand hooping techniques on different planes. Like lasso, stirring the pot, etc.
July 20th Chest and shoulders On body techniques to strengthen your chest and shoulder hooping journey. Expand on body techniques.
July 27th Angled hooping We will learn angled hooping in both directions! Expand on leg hooping and work on stitching all the pieces together!
August 3rd Duck outs This is the most fun class as well as challenging class! We start with basic whole body duckouts then elbow/arm, the shoulder, and applying it to different planes. Bonus elbow passes if we get there!
